10th Anniversary Bourbon Barrel Painting

Dress For Success
Fundraiser

Jeptha Creed Distillery Fundraiser

To celebrate the tenth anniversary of Glenns Creek Distillery, I painted one of their Bourbon Barrels displaying the 1878 construction of the Old Crow Distillery that is located on their property along with the 2015 founding of Glenns Creek. The barrel is on display in their tasting area.

Dress for Success, Louisville, KY. is a nonprofit organization who empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. I painted this barrel to represent the Kentucky Derby for their fundraising auction.

Jeptha Creed Distillery held a paint a barrel competition to help raise funds for the charity of the artists choice. I chose the Wounded Warriors Organization and my barrel raised $10,000 to their cause. The barrel also won the peoples choice award.

Jeptha Creed Distillery

I painted this for a good friend I knew in college. She received the painting and was truly moved and surprised by it. For some reason I decided the painting needed a deer in it. She told me after she received it, she was truly blown away. She relayed to me that they had a daughter that had passed away and whenever they see a deer somewhere it reminds them of their daughter.

A gift for his fiancee

I was asked to paint this scene from a photo taken of this young man and his fiancée. It was a heartfelt gift for his beloved as it is one of their favorite places to visit.

Residences at Eagles Point

Residences at Eagles Point is a community consisting of one, two and three bedroom apartment homes.  I was commissioned to paint a series of paintings with the theme, Home Is… This is one of four paintings that now hang in the Residences at Eagles Point.

Star Trek

This was a fun painting that I was commissioned to paint. The client was a Star Trek fan and wanted a painting of the Enterprise early edition. When I finished it he drove all the way from Canada to pick it up, about an 8 hour drive.

Eaton Community Church

Sharing Life, Sharing Christ is the mission statement of the church that I attend. I was asked to paint two paintings to interpret the mission statement. Each painting is 48 x 48 and hang in the lobby of the church.

Castle by the Sea

Castle by the Sea, by J Fanta, is a children’s book I was asked to illustrate. This is one of the paintings for the book that I painted. The book is available on Amazon.

The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe

Our church, Eaton Community Church, did a presentation of the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis. I painted the backdrop which was 16-ft. tall and 40-ft. wide.

The Old Crow

Distillery

Not only did I paint a bourbon barrel for Glenns Creek Distillery, but I also painted this 48 x 48 painting of the Old Crow Distillery located on their grounds. It is such a cool looking building that I felt inspired to paint this and give it to Dave Meier, owner of Glenns Creek Distilling. I really enjoyed painting this. He has had puzzles made of the painting that can be purchased at his distillery.

Preble County Art Association Fundraiser

Our local art association that I am a member of, asked for me to do a painting demonstration during a fundraising event. This painting was then auctioned at the dinner to the highest bidder who paid $1000.
